11.16.05 Nothing to say really. Just getting ready to head out to one of the greatest races in the world next week, the ABA Grands. I hear Eric Miller still thinks they are biscuits or something like that. Radar did send me a great photo of a couple of my great friends from back in 03. Not sure where the hell he found it but check it out in my photo area. 10.10.05 Damn near two months from last time. Well I'm busy and don't really feel like updating. I've finally recover from a crash that jacked my bad knee up pretty good. So hopefully my November plane tickets wont be a waste. Radar FINALLY came up with something. So go check his page out. I'm also thinking of changing my page up, I'm starting to not like it even when I don't look at it much. 8.15.05 It was a weekend of Highs and Lows. Got allot of biking in again FINALLY!!!!! Myself and friends did the Portland bridge pedal and race down in Eugene. Check out the photos on my friends & racing pages. The low of the weekend was my friend Adam lost his mother. Rest in Peace Mrs. Treadwell.
08.10.05 Yes I know it's been a month. I went on trek to find Radar. I found him. Went through a few swaps a desert, and two mountain ranges. He was sipping tea with Carman San Diego. I found him and told him that there was some new punk on the block talking smack about him. I took some battered rips in that trip but I'm feeling pretty good now after a special shower was built at my house for me. Now if you got all of that go check out what Radar has to say. If you didn't go there anyways and leave the trash talk on Vintage where everyone can get a laugh.
7.06.05 Radar where the hell are you at, send me something!! Wow allot has happened from April let me tell you. First off Mr. I still have a hell of a gate Hudson inspired me to get some what back on the ball plus, I'm staying off the bikes for a few more days. So after my last update. I headed to watch Supercross up in Seattle, it was the first time in about 7 years that it'll been there. Totally worth 55.00 a ticket what a Kick in the ass let me tell you. At the end of April I went down to So. Cal. for my first Vet Pro BMX race. What a damn cool time, not to mention racing super fast guys. I wasn't really in the mix but for the amount of time I'd put into it this year not bad for my first outing. Hung out at the Supercross trailer with no stickers for the weekend. Then it was a mad dash home and let me tell you our rental car was made to keep old people awake while drive. In Mid-May it was time to try my hand at another race down in Roseville at the Spring nationals. I'd been to that track just the year before so it made me feel a bit better about it. Heather and I headed down for the weekend. It was her first real road trip with e and it didn't turn out to bad at all. met some more great guys in class and managed to just miss out on the semi-main cut by 2 points each day. So it seemed that my racing was coming around. Threw a pretty large BBQ for my 31st. Birthday and to make up for the fact that I didn't have a 30th. or house warming party so I did all the work and threw in a keg for all my friends. it'd been raining that whole week on and off but mother nature was good to me and it was an awesome sunny day! Into June now. This were moving pretty fast around here, not like Jeremy head pulling out a can of Whoop Ass fast but fast enough, right Eric Miller? All in the same week I send Heather off to Europe for a long time, have a huge mishap with my race frame (thanks to Bill Ryan I'm sporting on Badass new Red one) and Head off to my next national in Rockford Illinois. yes that's right folk I finally got East of the Mississippi River! What a race. Check out OregonBMX for some photos. That was probably my most fun race weekend ever. Also started running a new sponsor back there. Didn't make the cut each day but again I was just a cpl. points from it each day. I did manage to put some great racing in. A travelers note NEVER get to O'Hare airport with only an hour until your flight takes off. You might get on the plane but your luggage wont! 4 guys and all of our luggage in a for explorer is pretty damn funny also. Great trip guys, hope we can all make it next year. Fourth of July Weekend, headed over to Central Oregon like all other god fearing BMX racer in the state of Oregon. It was great over there. Had a great time racing. Hung out with all the fine folks at West Coast Aggro also my sponsors. Had one hell of a spill on Sunday thanks to borrowing a front tire that had low air. But what can you do, that's racing. All in all a great time. One of my good friends Rod Hasty started his own person site also call tribe503. Go check it out. 4.02.05 Well let's say March was a month of many many changes for me. All even for the best I can tell. Started a new job over at Hayden Consulting Engineers. It's a great change with many added benefits. Not to mention I'm back to regular hours So I can pursue my Hobby of racing which took a new turn recently up in Pasco Washington where I really did ride great. I had thought about turning VET Pro for a while and decided to do it and sign the paper work and give the ABA a little more of my hard earned cash, So the Great Northwest Nation of 2005 was my last amateur race. This was also the first race Heather checked out with me. She even really liked it, now that there tells me something's a matter with her so much further investigation is required! Now with all these new things happening for me I've also decided to join a new gym. Mavricks is a damn cool gym down town where my friend Geoff works. If you're a bike of nay kind this is the place to check out. 02.22.05 Well I'm sick as hell right now. Now on a good note, I picked up my new road bike so I get to look at it until I get better. 02.16.05 Well the past weekend was the first bicycle engulfing weekend I'd had in a long time. I managed to get together my new Supercross MX26 (I'll get a pic of it up on my race page soon) and took it out to the track. I'd like to Give Bill Ryan a huge thanks one that one plus searching out a well needed part for me so I can really get the bike dialed in. I also dropped some big cash on a road bike up at Weir's Cyclery in St. Johns. 02.01.05 OK I've really been slacking here... I'm a busy person you know. I've been working on another site along with just work in general. It looks to be slowing down here in the near future so I can focus on some riding again and having some fun. I hit the first SCR BMX race of the year it was great seeing so many people there for sure. A little drama here and there but that's racing. I didn't do to bad at racing I guess, still very rusty though. It made me want to get back with it for sure though. If all the larger racing are like this one this year. It's going to be a fun year for sure! The week before I finally had to go in for jury duty. I was really hating it for sure but after a while I figured 2 days of my life wouldn't be that bad right? There was one guy in there that kept falling asleep. 3 house wives behind me talking about how they didn't have time for it and how there were so BUSY. Come on now ladies, you don't work! .......................................................................................................................................................................... Opening weekend of as some call it "The Other Indoor" here in the Portland area. Well I had full plans on checking it all out this Saturday but freezing rain might give me a perfect reason to wait until Sunday.
Congrats to al my friends that race and did well in Reno this past weekend.
In other news,
1.15.05 Not must new news going on here on the DLM front. I would have added dot com to that but I didn't want to sound like a few of the other pages out there. With a new year of racing starting and a new indoor opening up this weekend, the politics of racing are due to start in a few weeks. I plan on going to each track and getting some snowboarding in this winter and not getting caught up in anything to much.
1.5.05 Happy New Years everyone. To start off the new year David Wray and I headed over in the evening to the new indoor in town and well worked good into Friday morning. How time passes when boys are playing in the dirt. Then about noon on Friday I headed up to Seattle for New Years at my cousin's new place and had a GREAT time. I was good and didn't drink to much so I could wake up and enjoy the rest of the weekend with out any problems. There as one person that didn't and WOW I'm glad I was that person..... hahaha The first ABA national of the year is this up coming weekend. In allot of ways I wish I was going, D-Wray is making his VET debut and E-Mo from up here, it'll be his first National race. There are allot of new guys in the Vet pro class this year and well it should be some great racing. It's just not in the cards for me to head down there this time. I'm not where I want to be riding wise and I'm trying to save some $ so I can do more later on this year. Until next time.....
12.29.04 One of the last days of the year. Time to do a little reflecting I guess. Spent X-Mas with the family down in Southern Oregon. Heading to Seattle for New Years so you wont be seeing me at the track this coming weekend. 12.21.04 Heading South for the Holiday, should be a good time and nice to visit the family. Notice I said "should"
